Day by day as we spend our lives with our loved ones and children in so much comfort “Children” in Yemen are “DYING!” and over 25 million go to sleep hungry every night suffering from severe hunger and malnourishment. We ask you to please spare just “£1 a Day” so we can help these poor young souls with just “ONE MEAL A DAY”
Yemen is the largest humanitarian crisis in the world, with more than 24 million people – some 80 per cent of the population – in need of humanitarian assistance, including more than 12 million children. Since the conflict escalated in March 2015, the country has become a living hell for the country’s children.
The current level of hunger in Yemen is unprecedented and is causing severe hardship for millions of people. Despite ongoing humanitarian assistance, over 20 million Yemenis are food insecure, of which nearly 10 million are acutely food insecure, unfortunately.
With COVID-19 now spreading rapidly, Yemen is facing an emergency within an emergency. Sanitation and clean water are in short supply. Only half of the health facilities are functioning, and many that remain operational lack basic equipment like masks and gloves, let alone oxygen and other essential supplies to treat the coronavirus. Many health workers are receiving no salaries or incentives, and 10.2 million children don't have access to basic healthcare.
Together we can provide 1 million meals for the poor children of Yemen who are going through severe starvation, severe malnutrition and are losing their lives daily. Can YOU support the challenge and help achieve this goal by reaching 1 million meals. Just £1 for one meal which will feed one whole family in Yemen. Together we can provide 1 million meals in Yemen.
